Loutique Bowtique

We are going bow crazy over at Loutique at the moment. Having taken insperation from the lovely Cheryl Cole and the cute and kitsch Diana Vickers Loutique has a range of bow themed jewellery and accessories in store now.

Although the ladies above are both sporting hair bows there are a number of different options available at Loutique. We have the antique style crystal bow necklace which is a bargain at only £4.50 or if you don't want to go too cute with your bows how about the fierce leopard print bow hairband, a steal at only £2.50.

Any of the products featured in our bow collage will instantly update your look without breaking the bank.

We're off to tie a bow around Alfie the dogs head and see how cute he looks. TTFN

Sex and the City Style

If you're like me I know you will be practically salivating at the thought of Sex and The City The Movie 2 opening at the cinemas in May this year. And whilst I was pondering the idea of Samantha marrying Smith or a Big/Carrie baby I thought about the thing that I love most about SATC.... the fashion!

We are currently selling some fab corsages in our shop www.loutique.co.uk which are very much in the style of Carrie Bradshaw. The corsages are Carries signature piece and they could be yours too. With prices as low as £3 you can afford to have one in evey colour and still have money left over for the manolo blahniks you have your eye on. Carrie works these flowers in her own unique way and they really are perfect for stamping your own style on a jacket from the high street or a bag that you have had for a while.

Of course they are perfect for special occassions but I don't think Carrie believes in saving things for "best" every day is a special occasion when you are a fashionista such as Miss Bradshaw or should that be Mrs Preston.

I think it has to be TTFN from me for now I'm off to search the web for SATC 2 gossip!

Snow and Sales

Belated happy new year to you all hope it was a good one. I was so busy over christmas that I didn't have time to blog but it is one of my resolutions to update at least once a week from now on (we'll see). Alife the beagle had a nice christmas altough he was most unco-operative when I put his christmas jacket on him. He obviously has no taste!

Can't really be updating you on what is happening with me without mentioning the snow. You can't really have a "snow day" when your self employed and work from home but hubby did get sent home on Tuesday and was off Wednesday so I skived and watched DVD's with him.

Our website has been redesigned and I am slowly but surely uploading loads of new products. Please take a look and tell me what you think www.loutique.co.uk. We're offering a 10% discount if you fashion bloggers would like to pass it on to your readers the code is Twitter.

Due to being unable to get out but not wanting to miss any bargains I have been scouring the web for the January sales. I discovered some wonderful bargains as you can see.

These are all sale items and mighty fine bargains they are too :-

  • Bracelets from www.topshop.com was £18 Now £7

Just goes to show even getting snowed in can't stop a truly dedicated fashionista. TTFN and remeber be unique x

My First Blog

All excited and nervous about my first blog I must admit. Although maybe I won't need to be if no one is reading. So introductions I suppose...

I'm Louise a married 20 something with no kids but a very naughty puppy. I love all things kitsch and vintage but most of all unique. I just set up my own website this week www.loutique.co.uk which sells all manner of jewellery and accessories. It very much is a working progress because although I am quite creative I'm not technically gifted so please bear with me.

I'm not just going to be blogging about my site I will be telling you about all the wonderful gifted and creative people there are out there and the kitschy unique offerings they have too.

First though a bit more about me.
